HIGH SCHOOL
She lettered in soccer in all four years of high school. She also did varsity cross country and track for two years. She also lettered in tennis her senior year. She was the varsity women's soccer MVP every year in high school. She was 1st team all league in sophomore year. She was the team cross country MVP her sophomore year. She was named All-League first team her junior year. She was named the team captain during her sophomore year through her senior year. Her team were the NSL League Champions in 2020 and 2021. She was given the principal's award all four years of high school. She was the student of the month for English her freshman year and for math her sophomore year.  Â
PERSONAL
She was born in Fresno, Calif. to Jesus and Aydee Cruz. She has two brothers, Alexander and Sebastian. Sebastian plays on the men's soccer team. She chose Cal State Fullerton because she loves everything about the campus and the community. She likes the family atmosphere with the rest of the CSF Athletics teams. She enjoys the bond between the coaches, players, and staff. She enjoyed the family-like environment of the women's soccer team. She played a variety of sports besides soccer including softball, volleyball, running, and tennis. She danced folklorico from third grade to her sophomore year. She began playing soccer at four years old. She plans on majoring in either kinesiology or communications. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching Netflix, or walking her dogs. She models her game after her older brother Sebastian. They are both midfielders and she admires his ability to create scoring chances. Favorites include ; Ceviche (Food), Carli Lloyd, Lionel Messi (Athletes), The Bee Movie and Twilight Saga (Movies), Lil Uzi Vert, Adele (Musical Artists), Titan Stadium (Place to play), I am Malala (Book), Adam Sandler (Actor), Olive Garden and BJ's (Restaurant)
