IRVINE, Calif. - It was announced by the conference on Monday that senior midfielder Isabella Cruz of the Titans women's soccer team was named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week

Isabella Cruz earned all five of her points for the season this week after scoring two game-winning goals and tallying an assist in the Titans' wins at Portland on Thursday and against UTEP at home on Sunday.

Cruz scored the game's only goal on Thursday night at the University of Portland.  In Sunday's match against UTEP, Isabella Cruz assisted on the opening goal to fellow her senior Jenae Perez.  Cruz then scored a penalty kick for the Titans in the second half which ultimately was the game-winning goal in the 2-1 win over the Miners.  These were the fourth and fifth game-winning goals for Cruz in her Titans career. 

This is first player of the week honor for Isabella Cruz. The Titans have won back-to-back player of the week awards to start the season after Isaac Ranson was named the defensive player of the week last week.

The Titans will head to the University of Pittsburgh on Thursday for their only match this week.
