In her first season with the Titans, Boyd cemented herself in the Fullerton single-season record books by posting 33 wins (second-most), 246 strikeouts (seventh-most), 31 complete games (third-most) and 16 shutouts (eighth-most) in 299.1 innings pitched (second-most) with an 0.68 ERA. The video game-like numbers earned her the Big West Pitcher of the Year Award, Big West First Team honors, a spot on the NFCA All-West Region team and All-American honors as well. Overall the Titan ace was crowned Big West Pitcher of the Year in all three seasons with the program. She concluded her career in 1993 by leading the Titans to the Big West Conference title for the first time since 1987.

Overall, Boyd's' time with Titans was certainly special as she currently sits in the top-five of numerous career records such as opponent batting average (.183, 5^th), wins (82, 2^nd), appearances (125, 4^th), starts (91, 5^th), complete games (77, 2^nd), shutouts (38, 3^rd), innings pitched (776.1, 2^nd) and strikeouts (701, 3^rd).
