Box Score FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team swept the San Jose State Spartans 4-0 at the Titan Courts on Friday afternoon and improved to 5-1 overall for the season.

The Titans won the doubles point in dramatic fashion against the Spartans.  The No. 3 doubles pairing of Milena Gevorgyan and Seha Yu easily dispatched their opponents 6-2.  However, the first and second double pairings both went to the tiebreak.  In the No. 1 doubles pairing, Josie Usereau and Sein Myoung lost to their opponents 7-6 during the tiebreak.  In No. 2 doubles, Natalie Duffy and Kaytlin Taylor were able to defeat their opponent 7-6 during the tiebreak to earn the Titans first point of the match.

In singles, No. 2 Sein Myoung defeated her opponent in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4 to put the Titans up 2-0.  No. 5 Kaytlin Taylor put the Titans up 3-0 after she beat her opponent 6-2, 6-2. No. 3 Natalie Duffy sealed the win for the Titans despite dropping the first set.  She was able to defeat Sheuk Ying Shek 3-6, 6-2, 6-0.

The Titans will head to the Los Angeles Tennis Center to take on #29 UCLA tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
