Duffy, Usereau Advance at SoCal Intercollegiate Championships

The Titans had two players advance in their first tournament of the season

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis had two players advance to the Round of 16 at the So Cal Intercollegiate Championships.

In their first action of the 2023-24 season, senior Natalie Duffy and freshman Josie Usereau both won their first matches of the season.

Natalie Duffy defeated Tina Li (6-3, 6-4) in the Round of 64 before defeating Anastasiya Komar (7-6, 1-6, 6-3) in the Round of 32. Duffy will take on Gracie Mulville on Saturday's Round of 16 match up.

Josie Usereau defeated Iva Delic 6-1, 7-5 in her Round of 32 match.  Josie Usereau will take on Kristina Novak in Saturday's Round of 16 match.

Kaytlin Taylor was defeated by Raquel Gonzalez 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 in her singles match.  

Sein Myoung was defeated by Elizabeth Goldsmith 6-1, 7-5.
