FULLERTON, Calif. - Twelve members of the Titans Water Polo team earned All-Academic Team honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

The ACWPC recognizes honorees in three categories based on grade point average (GPA): Outstanding (3.71-4.00), Superior (3.41-3.70) and Excellent (3.20-3.40). To qualify, a student-athlete must be a member of a team during the 2024-25 academic year and have competed in at least one contest.

Mia Solorzano and Neida Torres were the only Titan to achieve Outstanding honors.  Chandler Burrell, Delaney Latham, Emme Doube-MacLeod, Mia Hatch, Mikka Von Scherr, and Renske Boxsem earned Superior honors. While Destiny Hernandez, Elise Bliss, Isabella Schulze, and Jade Lonzo rounded out the team with Excellent honors.

As a group, Cal State Fullerton was one of 55 water polo programs to receive team all-academic accolades with a cumulative 3.31 GPA for spring.  

Earlier in July, eleven members of the Titans Women's Water Polo team would collect All-Big West Academic Team honors while 18 Titans were placed on the Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll, capping another excellent year in the classroom.

Cal State Fullerton has built a top-tier production studio to give the viewers an ESPN quality production for all games at Titan Stadium. Additionally, all schools in the Big West Conference are committed to producing ESPN quality streams which will allow fans to watch the Titans on ESPN+ for all road conference games.
