HONOLULU, HI. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's water polo team dropped their regular season finale in a 20-2 loss on the road against the No. 6 University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine.
The Titans were down 11-0 after halftime.
The freshman international duo
Lotte Boxsem and
Sofia Moschetti scored the Titans only two goals in the third quarter.
Renske Boxsem made six saves in the cage for the Titans.
The Titans were locked into the seventh seed heading into next week's Big West Championship Quarterfinal. With the win over the Titans, the University of Hawaii clinched the Big West regular season title. The Titans will take on hosts and the No. 2 Seed Long Beach State next Friday at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center. That game will start at 2:30 p.m.
