ACWPC Release

FULLERTON, Calif. – For the fourth consecutive season, the Cal State Fullerton Titans women's water polo program had a student-athlete earn All-American recognition as Destiny Hernandez and Lotte Boxsem were both named an ACWPC All-American Honorable Mention by the Collegiate Water Polo Association. This marks the second straight season that the Titans had two student-athletes earn All-American honors.  They were both previously named as All-Big West Honorable Mentions. 



The senior Destiny Hernandez led the team with 50 goals scored and also had 12 assists.  She also drew 14 exclusions and tallied 36 steals and 9 field blocks. Over her three year career with the Titans, Hernandez is the programs all-time leader in points (183) and goal scored (132) since transferring from Orange Coast College.  

As a freshman starting 2M defender, Lotte Boxsem was fourth on the team with 49 points after scoring 32 goals and tallying 17 assists as a freshman.  She also drew six exclusions and tallied 19 steals and five field blocks.

The Titans finished the season with their first winning record (17-15) in program history and went 1-6 in conference finishing the regular season in seventh place.
