IRVINE, Calif. – After recording a clean sheet in his first collegiate start, Asger Hemmer has been named Big West Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.Â
Hemmer recorded four saves in the Titans 1-0 victory at Tulsa Sunday night, giving the team its first win of the 2025 season.Â
The freshman came on in the second half of the season opener against Oral Roberts on Thursday and played the final 33 minutes, recording one save and helping the Titans comeback efforts to earn a 2-2 draw.Â
After two games in Oklahoma to start the season, Fullerton is back in Southern California this week for a matchup against UCLA at Wallis Annenberg Stadium in Los Angeles.
