Olivia Walker Finishes the Big West Multis Championships with School Record

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Titans finished up their regular season schedule Friday evening at home with the Titan Tune-Up. The Titans looked to finish strong in their final at home before heading to the Big West Championships at Long Beach State May 16th-17th.

Olivia Walker finished the Women's Heptathlon at the Big West Multis Championships with a score of 4919 pts. to break her own school record that was set earlier this season at the Bryan Clay Multis.

Mayalee Osola finished with a score of 4916 to finish the meet in eighth place at the Big West Championships and 2nd all-time for the Titans.

Emily Johnson also made it into the top 10 with her score of 4603 pts. to place herself fifth all-time at Cal State Fullerton.

Keith Orona finished the Men's Decathlon at the Big West Multis Championships with a score of 6986 to place fifth at the meet and second all-time for the Titans.

Abel Jordan was the first Titan to establish himself in the top 10 record books once again. Jordan finished the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.95 to win his heat and place himself eighth overall for the Titans. 

Jocelyn Alexander got her name in the top 10 record books once again with her throw of 51.75m in the Women's Hammer Throw for sixth all-time at Cal State Fullerton.

Kyliegh Wilkerson continues to take down records as she once again overtook the sixth spot all time with her throw of 48.13 in the Women's Discus Throw. 

Jayden Epps had a mark of 53.35m in the Men's Discus Throw which placed him third in the meet and fifth overall for the Titans. 

Taylor Shorter finished with a time of 14.30 (3rd) in the Women's 100m Hurdles at the Titan Tune-Up.

On the men's side, Chaison Wesley finished with a time of 10.62 for third place in the men's 100m.

The Titans finished one, two, three in the Men's 800m with Diego Mejia 1:51.85 (1st), Jeremiah Castellano 1:52.76 (2nd), and JT McCoy 1:54.00 (3rd) all outlasting the competition.

The women finished in the top three spots in the 800m as well with Julia Rudolph running a 2:13.43 (1st), Makena Oliva finishing with a 2:15.30 (2nd), and Trista Michael clocking a 2:19.08 (3rd).

In the Men's 200m at the Titan Tune-Up, Conner Thomas took second place overall with a time of 21.50 and Parker Harrison finished third with a time of 21.61.

The Titans are back in action next week May 16th-17th at Long Beach State for the Big West Championships.
