Titans Record Personal Bests at Desert Heat Classic

The Titans logged multiple personal bests at Desert Heat Classic.

Tucson, Ariz. – The Cal State Fullerton Titans tallied a handful of personal-bests at the Desert Heat Classic at the University of Arizona on Saturday.
 
The Titans kicked off the Desert Heat Classic with a 44.87 finish in the women's 4x100m. Jahzara Davis, Nancy Dematte, Arionn Livingston and Brooklyn Davis finished in sixth place out of 11 relay teams. The Titans' 44.87 time was just .30 seconds short from the program record.
 
Bella Turner set personal bests in both the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles on Saturday. Her eighth place finish in the 100m hurdles was recorded at the 13.69 mark. In the 400m hurdles, she finished at 59.22.
 
Livingston and Dematte also recorded personal bests in the women's 400m, both finishing in the top 10.  On the men's side, Rider Cooper rounded out the top 10 with a 46.42 time. Christopher Goode, Parker Harrison, and Maleik Pabon also competed in the men's 400m.
 
Ian Dossman highlighted the men's 100m dash with a fifth place 10.23 finish. Dominic Gates ran alongside Dossman and clocked a 10.57 time. Gates also competed in the men's 200m dash where he posted a 21.11 finish.
 
Cooper, Pabon, Goode and Isaiah Emerson posted a 3:06.48 time in the men's 4x400m relay, fishing in second place. Briyanna Word, Livingston, Alyssa Heinlein and Dematte posted a 3:37.90 time in the women's 4x400m relay. The women's team recorded a new program best and finished in second place.
 
The Titans are back in action on Friday, May 8 when Fullerton hosts the Titan Tune Up.
