Dossman Named NCAA Track & Field First Team All-American

Ian Dossman became the first male Titan in 24 years to earn NCAA Track and Field First Team All-American.

Eugene, Ore. – Ian Dossman was recognized for his impressive junior season on Friday evening.  Dossman was named First Team All-American in the men's 200m dash after finishing seventh at the NCAA Championships. The Elk Grove native is the first male Titan to earn First Team All-American since 2002 when jumper, Brandon Campbell finished sixth in the high jump.
 
Dossman logged a program-best 20.20 time at the Big West Championships in the 200m to qualify for NCAA West First Round. In Fayetteville, Dossman broke the record again, clocking 20.15 in his first-place finish that punched his ticket to Eugene.
 
On Wednesday, Dossman finished in sixth place, qualifying for the finals with his 20.32 time. He finished seventh among nine athletes in the finals.
 
Dossman has certainly made his mark at Cal State Fullerton and will look to continue his impressive career next season.
