FULLERTON, Calif. – Luke Hitchcock and Arionn Livingston were named the Big West track athletes of the week on Tuesday evening. Hitchcock is the second male athlete to win the conference honor for the Titans this season while Livingston is the third female.
 
Hitchcock ran a record breaking 1:47.20 time in the men's 800m at the Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine. Hitchcock's personal-best performance on Friday broke his previous school record of 1:50.97. His performance now ranks first in the Big West this season.
 
Livingston competed at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday. Livingston ran a personal-best 52.92 in the women's 400m where she finished in seventh place. She also competed in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. In the 4x100m, she worked with Jahzara Davis, Nancy Dematte, and Brooklyn Davis to post a 44.87 finish. The Titans senior closed out the meet on the record-breaking women's 4x400m team who posted a 3:37.90 time. Livingston, alongside Briyanna Word, Alyssa Heinlein, and Dematte recorded a new program-best with their third-place finish.
 
The Titans will close out the regular season as they host the Titan Tune-Up on Friday, May 8 at Titan Track.
