PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Titans traveled up north this weekend to participate in the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Classic. 

Cal State Fullerton's Jonathan Pfeiffer finished the 800m in 1:49.90 at the Stanford Invitational to place himself third all-time for the Titans. 

Talman Young finished with a time of 8:46.12 in the 3000m Steeplechase, which is second all-time at Fullerton, and he is currently ranked #25 in the NCAA.

Tony Chavez also had a top 10 finish as he ran a 8:54.31 in the 3000m Steeplechase, which was good enough to place him third all-time

In the 5000m, Marco Perez ran 13:56.17 which is second all-time for the Titans, and he currently sits at the top of the conference list.

At the Mike Fanelli Classic that was hosted by San Francisco State University, Nathaniel Avila finished the men's 5000m race with a time of 14:54.67. Avila finished 54th out of 166 competitors. 

On the women's side, Ashlynn Viramontes finished 10th out of 136 competitors with a time of 2:10.72 in the women's 800m at the Fanelli Classic. 

Natalyn Membreno also participated in the event and finished with a time of 2:11.42 to finish 17th.

Finally, Bella Smith and Julia Rudolph rounded out the Titans in the 800m as they finished with times of 2:13.04 (36th) and 2:19.13 (92nd), respectively.

The Titans are back in action next week as they host their Friday Night Lights meet Friday, April 11th where a senior day celebration will be held for the Fullerton seniors.
