FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's water polo team defeated the Toronto Golden Jets 15-5 on Wednesday at the Fullerton College pool.

After being forced to play away from their home site, the Titans felt right at home at nearby Fullerton College in the win over their Canadian counterparts. 

Mia Solorzano led the Titans 15 goal output with 3 goals of her own.  Taylor Mason and Ileina Hatori also had multi-goal games in the win.  Destiny Hernandez, Gabrielle Zaretskiy, Kendal Santos, Jade Lonzo, Emme Doube-MacLeod, Elise Bliss, and Taylor Hendricks all found the back of the net as well.

Annabelle Sherman made seven saves after playing the first two quarters.  Sienna Bertsch made two saves in the third quarter and Alexandra Ortiz made three saves in the fourth quarter.

Emme Doube-MacLeod started the scoring for the Titans in the first quarter.  Toronto equalized to tie the game at 1-1 before the Titans went on a 3-0 scoring run to finish the quarter ahead 4-1. 

The Titans outscored Toronto 4-1 in the second quarter and led 8-2 at halftime.

The Titans outscored Toronto 4-2 in the third quarter and led 12-4 after three.  In the final quarter, the Titans outscored Toronto 3-to-1 to finish the game ahead 15-5.  

The Titans will play their toughest competition of the this year this weekend at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.  They will take on No. 1 Stanford in Group B on Friday at the Marian Bergeson Aquatic Center at Corona Del Mar High School.  On Saturday they will play two games and on Sunday they will play one game to wrap up tournament play.  Live Stats will be available on the fosh for ever game this weekend.
