HIGH SCHOOL
She graduated from Foothill High School in 2023.  She played four years of varsity water polo for the Knights.  She was third team all-league and third team all-cif in her junior season.  Her team won the Crestview League all four seasons she was there.  They were CIF-Runner Up her freshman year and CIF Open Division Semi-finalist her junior year.  They were the CIF Open Division runner-up in 2023 and they won the Newport Invitational her senior year.  She played club water polo for Socal Water Polo.

PERSONAL
She was born in Rancho Cordorva, Calif. To Alma and Jerry Ortiz.  She has two older siblings, Kaitlyn and Josh.  She plans on majoring in business marketing.  She chose Cal State Fullerton over Chapman.  She chose to come to Cal State Fullerton because she liked the campus, the pool deck, and the school’s business program.  She enjoys spending her free time hanging out with her friends and family, shopping, and going to the beach.  Her sister Kaitlin played water polo at Long Beach State from 2021 to 2024.  Her favorites include: Fettuccine Alfredo and Dumplings (Food), The Notebook (Movie), It Ends With Us (Book), Din Tai Fung (Restaurant)
