BIG WEST RELEASE

IRVINE, Calif. — It was announced on Friday by The Big West Conference that fifth-year graduate student Shyanne Rainey was named to the All-Big West Honorable Mention team.



It marked the second straight season that the Titans earned at least one All-Conference honor.  Mia Solarzano was the Freshman of the Year and an Honorable Mention last season.

Rainey led the team with 51 goals and was 7th in the Big West conference in scoring.  She was second on the team with her points.  

Rainey earned the distinction earlier this season of being the first water polo player (male or female) in program history to have earned a Big West Player of the Week award.
