FULLERTON, Calif. — Four different Titans secured individual wins while the men's 1600m relay team also won Saturday on Day Two of the Ben Brown Invite.
Alero Soaris won the women's 400m with a personal-best 55.83, Sam Heinrichs won the men's pole vault with a 5.10m, Reyte Rash won the men's 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 51.41 and Alonzo Floriolli took gold in the men's 200m with a time of 21.15. Fullerton also took home gold in the men's 1600m relay, with Rash, Floriolli, Isaiah Emerson, Justin Lowe and Chris Goode securing a time of 3:12.04.
Arionn Livingston took silver in the women's 400m, clocking a time of 55.99. Daniel Palacio finished second in the men's pole vault with a mark of 5.10m while Ernesto Collazo took fifth with a 4.80m. London Lee took silver in the women's triple jump with a 12.24m mark, while Lowe took silver in the men's 400m with a time of 46.71.
In the men's shot put, Hawkin Miller took second with a mark of 16.25m. The men's 4x400m team composed of Lowe, Floriolli, Carter Birade and Naythn Scruggs finished second with a time of 40.11. Matt Cohen placed fourth in the men's 400m hurdles and Birade placed fourth in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 14.33. Floriolli also took third in the men's 100m with a personal-best time of 10.36.
Up next, the Titans travel to Los Angeles March 24-25 for the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational and Bob Larsen Distance Carnival hosted by UCLA.
