LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team had two players win their brackets at the Long Beach Fall Tournament on Sunday.
Milena Gevorgyan won the Gold bracket after defeating Talia Harper (CSUN) 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
In a battle between two Titans in the gray bracket,
Mariia Nikitash defeated Audry Large 1-6, 6-4, 6-0.
RESULTS
SINGLES-Black
Seha Yu was defeated by Shauna Heffeman (Boise State) 6-3, 6-3 in the consolation draw final.
SINGLES-Gold
Milena Gevorgyan won the Gold bracket after defeating Talia Harper (CSUN) 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
SINGLES-White
Bhakti Shah (Boise State) defeated
Diana Yanotovskaya 6-2, 6-4 in the winner's bracket third place match.
SINGLES-Grey
In a battle between two Titans,
Mariia Nikitash defeated
Audrey Large 1-6, 6-4, 6-0.
DOUBLES-Black
The doubles pairing of Gevorgyan/Large won their doubles match by default in the third place match.
DOUBLES-Gold
The doubles pairing of Yanotovskaya/Yu won the consolation draw bracket after defeating Shah/Prion (Boise State) 7-6 (5).
The Titans will return to competition in two weeks when they head back down to San Diego for the ITA Regionals beginning on Thursday, October 19th.
