LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team almost had a perfect start to the Long Beach Fall Tournament on Friday.

The Titans won in all four single matches, one doubles match, and only lost in one doubles match.

In the singles draw, Milena Gevorgyan, Diana Yanotovskaya, Audrey Large, and Mariia Nikitash all advanced to the next round in the winner's bracket. In doubles, the pairing of Gevorgyan and Large went to the winner's bracket. 

RESULTS
SINGLES-Gold
Milena Gevorgyan defeated Ariadna Briones Ginesta (Boise State) 6-0, 6-2.  She will take on Sarah Medik (LBSU) in the next round.

SINGLES-White
Diana Yanotovskaya defeated Cindy Ung (CSUN) 6-3, 7-6 (2) to move to the next round where she will take on Doga Akyurek (LBSU).

SINGLES-Grey
Audrey Large defeated Hana Becirovic Novak (LBSU) 7-5, 6-1 where she will take on Sofia Dermeniyan (CSUN). Mariia Nikitash defeated Larissa Teramura (UCI) 3-6, 6-2, 4-0 (Retire).  She will take on Ella Piron (Boise State) in the next round.

DOUBLES-Black
Gevorgyan/Large defeated Fowler/Fowler (UCI) 6-3 to move to the next round where they will take on Ramstedt/Cook (LBSU).

DOUBLES-Gold
The team of Yanotovskaya/Nikitash were defeated by Becirovic Novak/Tranberg (LBSU) 6-3.  They will take on Gidwani/Perez (UCI) in the consolation draw.

The Titans will be back in action in Long Beach tomorrow for Day 2 of the Long Beach Fall Tournament.
