Fullerton Concludes Play at El Macero Classic

Final Results

EL MACERO, Calif.--- Cal State Fullerton wrapped up play at the El Macero Classic finishing with a total of 909 (+45) and a third round score of 299 to place eighth at the El Macero Country Club on Friday.

 

Seattle University won the event, shooting +30 for the tournament and finishing with a final score of 894. Fresno State and Oregon State tied for second, each shooting +31. Big West Rivals UC Davis (+35) and UC Riverside (+75) placed fourth and 12th respectively.

 

Ty Stites led the way for the Titans, finishing tied for 15th, shooting +2 on the day and +9 for the event with 225 points and third round score of 74. Matt Wilson claimed a top-20 placing, finishing 20th and shooting +12 for the event. He shot -1 on the day to finish strong.

 

Michael Sharkey also tied for 20th with an overall score of 228 and a third round score of 75

 

Cal State Fullerton now shifts its focus to Big West Championships on May 1-3rd.
