Maricopa, Ariz. – The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team shot 4-over par 868 to finish the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in 12th place. The tournament was hosted at the Southern Dunes Golf Course in Maricopa, Arizona.Â
Giacomo Comerio led the Titans with a tie for 20th place after shooting 3-under par 213 (70-68-75). His 68 strokes in the second round tied his career-best, which he set in 2024 at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational.
Shibo Wang tied for 60th place with a score of 3-over par 219 (72-75-73).
Will Tanaka followed closely behind, tied at 64th, shooting 4-over par 220 (72-75-73).Â
Lance Nguyen tied for 114th in his sixth tournament with the Titans, finishing at 14-over par 231 (77-81-72).
Eliot Vidal rounded out the lineup in Arizona with a tie for 114th place. He shot 15-over par 231 (76-68-87), including a career-best round of 68 strokes.Â
The Titans return to the golf course for the El Macero Classic, hosted by UC Davis, April 10-12. The three-day tournament is the final regular-season event before the Big West Championship, held May 3-5 in La Quinta, Calif.
