Day 2 Bracket (PDF)
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Senior Morgan McIntosh and freshman Alexis Valenzuela each earned victories on the first day of competition at the 2013 Beach Tennis Fall Invitational Friday at the Rhodes Tennis Center.
Playing in Flight A, McIntosh defeated Cal State Northridge's Vivian Lin, 6-2, 6-1, and will move on to play Long Beach State's Julie Gerard in the winner's bracket on Saturday.
Valenzuela will also be in the winner's bracket on Saturday after a win over Leslie Change of Cal State Northridge, 6-1, 6-0 in Flight B. Valenzuela is scheduled to play Laura Eales.
Play at the 2013 Beach Tennis Fall Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State, resumes Saturday. All matches are played at the Rhodes Tennis Center.
