Seventeen Titans Advance to NCAA Postseason

Sixteen Titans were announced as qualifiers for the NCAA Track and Field First Round West Regionals and Keith Orona will go straight to the Championships in Oregon.

FULLERTON, Calif. – On Thursday, the NCAA announced that 17 Cal State Fullerton student-athletes seasons will continue through regionals and beyond. A total of 16 Titans qualified for the 2026 NCAA West First Round and Titans senior, Keith Orona will go straight to Eugene, Oregon where he will represent Fullerton in the men's decathlon at the NCAA Championship.
 
The four female athletes that will compete in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 27-30 are Arionn Livingston, Natalyn Membreno, Jahzara Davis and Alyssa Heinlein. For the men, Ian Dossman, Abel Jordan, Dominic Gates, Rider Cooper, Luke Hitchcock, Isaiah Emerson, Parker Harrison, Maleik Pabon, and Christopher Goode will compete in running events. On the field, Sebastian Ikolo, Camren Smith and Hawkin Miller will represent the Titans.
 
Livingston will run in the women's 400m where her personal best is 52.92. At the conference championships, she took home first with a time of 53.16. Membreno, who also scored gold at the Big West Championships, will race in the women's 800m. She qualified for finals with a third-place time of 2:10.19 and finished in first place at the 2:07.80 mark.
 
Heinlein and Davis will compete in the women's hurdles events. Heinlein is set to represent the Titans in the women's 400m hurdles. She capped the Big West Championships with a program-best 58.24, first place mark. Davis also finished in first with a 13.12 time, after qualifying with a time of 13.44.
 
Dossman, who finished at the top of the podium in both the men's 100m and 200m dashes will compete in both events in Fayetteville. Dossman will also run on the men's 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams. Jordan will run alongside Dossman in the 100m dash as well as compete on the same 4x100m relay team. Jordan clocked a 10.08, personal-best time in the 100m at the conference championships where he finished in second, behind Dossman. Gates will complete the trio of Titans competing in the men's 100m dash at regionals. Gates ran a 10.27 personal best at the Big West Championships last weekend. He will also run for the Titans in the 4x100m as well as 4x400m relays.
 
Cooper will make an appearance in the men's 200m dash, where his personal best time is 21.14, recorded at the Big West Championships. Cooper will also run a leg of the 4x400m relay.
 
Hitchcock is set to run in the men's 800m. He ran a 1:51.55 time at the conference championships where he finished third. Hitchcock currently holds the program record in the 800m event at 1:47.20.
 
Emerson will compete in the men's 4x100m relay and Goode will run in the men's 4x400m relay. Harrison and Pabon will be on site as alternates for the men's relays.
 
 Ikolo, who finished second in Long Beach last weekend with a 2.09m mark, will compete in the men's high jump.  Smith will join Ikolo in jumps as he is set to appear in the men's triple jump. Smith also finished in second with a 15.60m mark. Miller will represent Fullerton throws in the men's shot put. Miller heads into the NCAA Regionals as the Big West Champion in the men's shot put with an 18.32m mark.
 
The top 12 finishers in each event will advance to Eugene, Oregon for the NCAA Outdoor Championships where they will catch Orona in the men's decathlon.
