FULLERTON, Calif. – The Big West Conference announced Titans, Ian Dossman and Keith Orona, swept the men's Athlete of the Meet honors on Thursday. Dossman was named male track athlete of the meet and Orona earned male field athlete of the meet.
 
Orona competed in Irvine on weekend one of the Big West Championships and finished second in the men's decathlon with a program-best 7675 points. He finished in the top four in all 10 events. His best placements were in the javelin and discus throws where he finished in first.
 
The Titans senior competed in the javelin throw, discus throw, and high jump in Long Beach on weekend two of the Big West Championships. He recorded a personal-best, 61.81m javelin throw, finishing in fifth place. He nabbed a fourth-place finish in the men's high jump and recorded a 45.56m mark in the discus throw.
 
Dossman scored gold in both events he competed in at Long Beach. He qualified for the 100m dash finals with a time of 10.11 and a record-breaking time of 20.34 in the men's 200m on Friday. On Saturday, Dossman ran a personal-best 10.02 in the 100m finishing in first and broke the school record again in the men's 200m with a first-place time of 20.20.
 
Dossman currently ranks seventh in both the men's 100m and 200m in the NCAA West Region and will compete in both events in Fayetteville, Arkansas next week for the NCAA Regionals. Orona ranks 15^th in the region and will go straight to Eugene, Oregon, for the NCAA Championships in June.
