Titans in Eighth After Round One of NCAA Regionals

STANFORD, Calif. – At the conclusion of round one of the NCAA Stanford Regionals, Cal State Fullerton sits in eighth place with a score of 9-over par 293. 

Zara Ali leads the way individually for the Titans after shooting 1-under par 70 in the first round Monday morning to leave her tied for 10th place. Davina Xanh is tied for 35th after shooting 2-over par 73. 

Katharina Zeilinger shot a 3-over par 74 to put her in a tie for 39th after round one. After shooting 5-over par 76, Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith is tied for 50th. Louise Dahl rounds out the group tied for 56th with a score of 7-over par 78. 

The Titans currently sit six strokes back of fifth place, with the top five teams moving onto the NCAA Championships. Fullerton is back at Stanford Golf Course Tuesday morning with the first of its tee-times beginning at 8:55 a.m.
