LAHAINA, Hawaii – Cal State Fullerton battled back from seventh place after round one to finish The Big West Championship in third place with a score of 9-over par 873. 

Davina Xanh went on a late charge to climb the leaderboard and finish in second place after shooting 7-under par 209, one stroke off the leader. After shooting a 76 in round one to leave her tied for 27th, Xanh bounced back with a 4-under par 68 and 7-under par 65 to move all the way up to second. 



Xanh has had strong showings at The Big West Championship throughout her four-year career, finishing tied 11th as a freshman, tied fifth as a sophomore and placed second her junior and senior seasons. 

Junior Zara Ali had her best placing as a Titan, finishing the tournament tied for fifth with a score of even par 216. Ali's 216 also ties her career best tournament score. Ali shot a 73 and 74 in the first two rounds before improving with a 3-under par 69 to finish the tournament. 

Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith placed tied for 21st after shooting 7-over par 223 (76-73-74). Katharina Zeilinger shot 11-over par 227 to finish the tournament tied for 30th (78-76-73). Louise Dahl finished 39th after shooting 18-over par 234 (82-74-78).
