Walnut, Calif. – The Titans kicked off the final stretch of the outdoor season with action at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday and Saturday. Several Titans recorded personal bests at the Mt. SAC Relays while
Samuel Berhane and
Jahzara Davis posted podium finishes.
Berhane had the highest finish of the meet for Fullerton with a first place 3000m steeplechase. The freshman posted a personal-best time of 9:23.02, finishing 17 seconds before the second-place athlete crossed the line.
Davis recorded a podium finish in the women's 100m hurdles. Davis logged a 13.70 mark, finishing in third.
Bella Turner and
Maya Osola also competed in the event, finishing in ninth and 10
th.
In the 400m hurdles, Bradley Riehl finished in 10
th with a new personal-best time of 53.76. Nicolo Owens also competed, recording a 55.28 finish. On the women's side,
Alyssa Heinlein led Fullerton with a top ten, 59.64 finish. Turner finished just one spot behind Heinlein with a 1:00.01 personal-best time.
Starla Skiles also appeared in the women's 400m hurdles with a 1:06.06 time.
Brooklyn Davis,
Devin Bragg and
Dominic Gates ran for the Fullerton in the 100m events. Davis clocked an 11.91 time while Bragg and Gates finished at 10.64 and 10.72.
Nancy Dematte finished in fifth place in the women's 200m dash with a time of 24.06.
Arionn Livingston and Davis also ran in the women's event. On the men's side,
Parker Harrison clocked a 21.30 time, finishing just .04 seconds short of his personal best.
Rider Cooper and Gates ran alongside Harrison, finishing at the 21.41 and 21.44 marks.
Dematte also had a high placement in the women's 400m, finishing with a fourth-place time of 53.18. Livingston clocked a 53.98 finish, just missing the top 10.
Jaiden Hill clocked a personal-best time of 55.31.
Christopher Goode led the men with a sixth place, 47.28 mark. Harrison finished behind with a personal-best time of 47.64.
Ian Dossman competed in the elite 100m and 200m dashes. In the 100m, Dossman clocked a 10.24 time, finishing in 13
th. Dossman finished in fifth with a 20.50 personal-best time in the 200m dash.
On the field,
Sydney Roquebrun posted a 5.79m long jump while
Sebastian Ikolo and
Rahsaan Dozier posted 6.91m and 6.45m jumps on the men's side.
Camren Smith logged a top 10 triple jump with a 15.17m mark, finishing in eighth.
Gabe Ikolo represented Fullerton in the men's high jump and posted a 1.90m mark.
Hawkin Miller competed in the men's hammer throw and shot put and finished in the top 10 of both. Miller posted a sixth place 17.94m shot put and a 56.54m 10
th place finish in the hammer throw.
The Titans are back in action on Friday, May 1
st at the Steve Scott Invite.
