FULLERTON, Calif. – For the second time this season Katharina Zeilinger has been named Big West Golfer of the Month, the conference announced Friday afternoon. 

Zeilinger earned the award after a tied for 12th place finish in a competitive field at the Chevron Silverado Showdown. Zeilinger was steady throughout the three-day tournament, shooting a 1-under par 71 in the first and third rounds with an even par 72 in round two. 

The senior was named Big West Golfer of the Month for the first time in her career back in February after claiming her first individual tournament victory at the San Diego State Classic. The Titans have now won three consecutive Big West Golfer of the Month awards, with Zeilinger earning the honor in February and April and Davina Xanh in March.

With the regular season behind them, the Titans attention is on The Big West Championship April 19-21 in Hawaii.
