PHOENIX – Davina Xanh earned her fourth-career individual victory and first outright tournament championship after shooting 8-under par 208 at the PING/ASU Invitational Monday through Wednesday. 

Xanh now ties Martina Edberge for most career top-20 finishes with 32 and extends her program best rounds at par or better to 61. With the victory, Xanh now has 15 top-5 finishes in her career.

The senior was steady throughout the three-day tournament, shooting 4-under 68 in round one followed by an even par 72 in the second round before finishing with another 4-under par 68 to claim the outright victory. 

Xanh was not alone on the leaderboard as Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith shot a 7-under par 207 to place tied for second. Zermeno Smith now has seven top-5 finishes in her career. The senior shot 3-under par 69 in round one followed by a 2-under par 70 in rounds two and three. 

The lethal duo of Xanh and Zermeno Smith led the Titans to a third place finish as a team with a 9-under par 855 to place behind No. 2 USC and No. 23 Arizona State. 

Zara Ali had her best tournament as a Titan, placing tied for 18th with a career-best even par 216. Ali shot a 2-under par 70 and 1-over par 73 in rounds two and three. 

Katharina Zeilinger shot 6-over par 222 to place tied for 42nd (74-75-73). Louise Dahl finished tied for 67th with a score of 15-over par 231 (75-76-80). Madelin Lee competed as an individual and placed tied for 75th with a 18-over par 234 (78-77-79). 

The Titans are back in action April 6-8 at the Chevron Silverado Showdown hosted by Colorado in the penultimate tournament of the season.
