LA QUINTA, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf finished the Yale Invitational West in sixth place after shooting 22-over par 886 Monday and Tuesday at PGA West. 

Katharina Zeilinger led the way with a ninth place finish after shooting 2-under par 214. Zeilinger got better throughout the tournament, starting with a 74 before shooting 1-under par 71 and 3-under par 69. The senior now has four top-10 finishes this season. 

Senior Davina Xanh finished the two-day tournament tied for 13th place with a score of 2-over par 218 (73-69-76). Zara Ali shot 13-over par 229 to place tied for 37th (73-76-80). Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith finished tied for 39th after shooting 14-over par 230 (71-84-75). 

In their first tournament of the season Madelin Lee and Jordyn Janert placed 47th and tied for 48th, respectively. Lee, who competed as an individual, shot 21-over par 237 (84-76-77). Janert shot 23-over par 239 (79-79-81).
