FULLERTON, Calif. – The College Baseball Foundation released its National Pitcher of the Year Watch List which included Mikiah Negrete. 

Negrete makes the list for the first time in his career after a strong start to the 2026 season. The senior is 2-1 one the year with a 1.59 ERA, 24 strikeouts and just two walks in 22.2 innings pitched and four starts. 

The southpaw will be on the mound Friday night at Goodwin Field against UC Irvine. First pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
