FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton was well-represented on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic list as 10 Titans were honored on Wednesday for their work in the classroom.
The ACWPC honors student athletes in three different tiers based off GPA: Outstanding (4.0-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41), and Excellent (3.40-3.20). Seven Titans made the outstanding tier, two were in the superior tier and finally, four rounded out the list in the excellent tier.
Fullerton made a splash in the outstanding tier with seven different Titans earning a GPA between 4.0 and 3.71.
Bende Aubeli,
Cy Hammerstrom,
Ethan Merritt,
Kai Kubo,
Nico D'Angelo,
Ryan O'Donovan, and
Togan Ozbek earned the highest honor.
Jacob Hatch and
Luke Vargas made the superior tier with a GPA between 3.41 and 3.70.
Lastly, four Titans rounded out the list of honors with their excellence in the classroom.
Alec Isaacman,
Ethan Cooney,
Marton Thuroczy and
Samuel Branco made the excellent tier.
