FULLERTON, Calif. – Former Titan, EJ Anosike, was named 2025 regular season MVP of the China National Basketball League this past weekend. Anosike competed with the Titans for one season (2021-2022) before going overseas to play professionally.
During his time with Fullerton, Anosike was a well-honored athlete, being named Big West Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-Conference, NABC District 9 All-Second Team, and Lou Hensen All-American. He averaged 16.3 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game and recorded a career-high 33 points against Big West opponent, CSUN.
This past season, Anosike played for Shijiazhuang (Hebei). In just 19 games, Anosike averaged 25.6 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game, earning himself an MVP honor. This honor is not his first, he was also crowned MVP of the China NBL last season when he played with Hefei Kuangfeng. Anosike's regular season performance has helped his team earn a spot in the playoffs.
The Cal State Fullerton Men's Basketball program wishes Anosike all the best in the playoffs and all that his career has in store.
