FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Cal State Fullerton earned its second consecutive top-5 finish to start the season, placing tied for second at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic with a score of 5-under par 570 Tuesday afternoon at the Ptarmigan Golf and Country Club. 

The second round of the tournament was suspended Monday evening and the third round was cancelled Tuesday afternoon due to weather. The Titans score of 570 is the lowest 36-hole score in program history. 

Davina Xanh led the way individually with a score of 5-under par 139 to place tied for third. Xanh shot 5-under par in the first round before shooting even par 72 in round two. The senior now has 13 top-5 finishes in her career. Xanh's 139 ties Martina Edberg for the program's best score in a 36-hole tournament. 

With a score of 3-under par 141, Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith placed tied for sixth. Zermeno Smith shot 2-under par 70 in round one and 1-under par 71 in the second round of the tournament. After placing tied for sixth, Zermeno Smith has two top-10 finishes to start the 2025-26 season. 

Louise Dahl shot 1-over par 145 to finish the two-day tournament tied for 17th (71-74). Katharina Zeilinger placed tied for 21st after shooting 2-over par 146 (70-76). 

Zara Ali placed tied for 70th with a score of 15-over par 159 (74-85). Koa Seymour competed as an individual and shot 20-over par 164 to finish 76th (80-84). 

The Titans are back in action Monday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Marilynn Smith Invitational hosted by Kansas in Lawrence, Kan.
