EL MACERO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's golf finished the El Macero Classic tied for ninth place with Sacramento State on Sunday afternoon at the El Macero Country Club. The Titans recorded their sixth top 10 finish of the 2024-25 season after shooting 30-over par 894 across 54 holes. 

Tegan Andrews had another team-leading performance, finishing the three-day tournament, tying for 26th place after shooting 6-over par 222 (69-74-79).

Matthew Schafer placed 44th alongside seven other golfers, with a score of 10-over par 226 (72-80-74). Giacomo Comerio placed tied for 51st shooting 11-over par 227 (75-72-80), while Will Tanaka (15-over par 231) finished tied for 68th place. Patrick Ordonez completed the Titans starting five in a shared 71st place with a score of 16-over par 232 (75-73-84). 

UC San Diego finished the final regular season tournament in first place at 1-over par 865, while Oscar Holm-Bredkjaer of San Francisco was crowned the individual champion with a score of 6-under par 210. 

The Titans turn their focus on the Big West Championship at the La Quinta Golf and Country Club from April 27-29. Last season, the Titans placed second behind Long Beach State, while Tegan Andrews claimed the individual medalist honors to clinch an appearance at a NCAA Regional round.
