FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's water polo team fell to No. 7 Long Beach State 18-5 on Saturday afternoon at the Fullerton College Pool.

The Titans got goals from Gabrielle Zaretskiy, Taylor Mason, Mia Solorzano, Emme Doube-MacLeod, and Elise Bliss.  The Titans No. 1 goalkeeper remained unavailable for this match as the Titans played both their backup goalkeepers.  Sienna Bertsch made two saves in the first two quarters and Alexandra Ortiz made four saves in the final two quarters.  

The Beach led 3-0 after the first quarter.

Taylor Mason scored the first goal for the Titans in the second quarter and Emme Doube-MacLeod also dented the twine as the Beach outscored the Titans 6-to-2 in the second quarter and led 9-2 at the halftime break.

Mia Solorzano scored for the Titans in the third quarter as the Beach outscored the Titans 5-to-1.  

The Titans scored twice in the final frame as Gabrielle Zaretskiy and Elise Bliss dented the twine.  The Beach outscored the Titans 4-to-2 in the fourth quarter.

The Titans will head to San Diego next weekend.  They will take on UC San Diego on Friday in La Jolla before taking on Bucknell and Indiana in the Aztec Invitational on Saturday.
