PHOENIX, Ariz.
– Cal State Fullerton men's golf finished the GCU Invitational in fifth place after shooting a 9-over par 861 at the GCU Golf Course on Wednesday. 

Tegan Andrews (9-under par 204) tied for first place with Grand Canyon's Tommaso Zorzetto after a 6-hole playoff. Andrews led the Titans for the third straight tournament, shooting a 66 in the first and final rounds accompanied by 72 strokes in the second round. He picked up an eagle, 10 birdies, 19 pars and five bogeys across all three rounds. 

Matthew Schafer (75-73-71) tied for 37th place after shooting 5-over par 218, while Patrick Ordonez (72-73-74) tied for 42nd place with a score of 6-over par 219. Will Tanaka shot a 7-over par 220 (71-78-71) to finish tied for 48th, while Giacomo Comerio rounded out the starting five in 98th place with a score of 24-over par 237. 

The Titans return to action on March 24-25 for The Duck Invite hosted by the University of Oregon.
