FULLERTON, Calif. – Titan standout and current Major League Baseball player, Tanner Bibee will be the keynote speaker for the annual Dinner with the Titans Fundraiser on Jan. 23 at Hotel Fera. 

In three seasons with the Cleveland Guardians, Bibee has a 34-23 record with a 3.61 ERA. Bibee has pitched in three postseason games since joining the Guardians, most notably against the Detroit Tigers in the 2024 ALDS where he pitched 8.2 innings and allowed just two runs while striking out nine. 

The Mission Viejo native finished his Titan career with a strong season in 2021 as the ace of the rotation, finishing the year with a 3.61 ERA with 67 strikeouts and a 7-6 record. Bibee had one of his best outings against USC where he pitched a complete game shutout while allowing three hits, striking out five and not issuing a single walk on just 88 pitches. Over his four seasons at Cal State Fullerton, Bibee had a 3.82 ERA and 236 strikeouts.

Bibee's collegiate breakthrough came in the decisive game of the 2018 NCAA Regional at Stanford. Making his NCAA postseason debut, he delivered 6.2 strong innings, allowing just two runs while striking out a career-high 11 batters. Powered by Bibee's dominant outing, the Titans earned a 5–2 victory over Stanford to advance to the NCAA Super Regionals.

Dinner with the Titans will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a silent auction, where all proceeds will go towards supporting the team. Dinner and the program will begin at 7:30 p.m., where attendees will enjoy a three-course meal.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the team and coaching staff, hear about the team's goals for the year, and engage with other supporters of Titans Baseball. This event promises to be an evening full of excitement, camaraderie, and an inside look at what's to come for the team.

The dinner will be a formal occasion with a cocktail attire dress code, providing a perfect opportunity for fans, alumni, and supporters to come together and support the Cal State Fullerton baseball program.

This event will not only provide a chance to raise important funds for the program, but it will also offer a memorable experience for our community as the season begins.
