Women's Golf Places Sixth at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf placed sixth at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic with a score of 8-over par 872.

Davina Xanh led the team individually, shooting 7-under par 209 (66-70-73) through three rounds to place third. Xanh has now finished in the top-10 in 12 consecutive tournaments going back to last season. 

Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith placed sixth for her career best tournament finish. Zermeno Smith shot 5-under par 211 (72-70-69) which is also a career best score. 

Katharina Zeilinger shot 1-over par 217 (73-67-77) to finish the tournament in 23rd place. Elyse Kim placed 55th with a score of 20-over par 236 (76-79-81) while Amber Davalos finished in 61st place after shooting 30-over par 246 (80-86-80).

The Titans are back in action next Monday and Tuesday at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational hosted by Seattle in Lakewood, Wash.
