FULLERTON, Calif. — Former Titan Tory San Antonio has signed to play professionally for Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) in Puerto Rico.
San Antonio spent five seasons with the Titans (2019-24) and was named Big West Defensive Player of the Year at the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign. That season, San Antonio led a Fullerton defense that held opponents to a Big West-best 62.72 points per contest in conference games. He was also named to the 2023 Big West All-Tournament Team.
The Moreno Valley, California native finished his Titan career averaging 6.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest. He scored a career-high 21 points against Vermont on Nov. 13, 2022 and racked up a career-high 12 rebounds at UC Davis on Jan. 14, 2023.
The Gigantes de Carolina participated in the BSN from 1971 to 2009, returning in 2021 after 12 years of inaction. The team won the 2023 BSN Finals for its first league championship. San Antonio has been with the club since March.
