FULLERTON, Calif.  – Cal State Fullerton Men's Basketball Alum, E.J. Anosike, led the Hong Kong Bulls to their third consecutive China National Basketball League Championship and was later named Finals MVP.
 
The Titans alum is a familiar face in the NBL as he has been crowned NBL Regular Season MVP twice and now adds Finals MVP to his resume. Anosike received congratulations from the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after nabbing a handful of historic achievements. He is the first player in China history to win every major award in the NBL. Anosike is now a two-time NBL All-Star, NBL All-Star Slam Dunk Champion, NBL Champion, Regular Season Scoring Champion, Best International Player, and Finals MVP.  
 
President Tinubu spoke on Anosike's accomplishments: "Anosike's accomplishments reflect the growing global impact of Nigerians in sports and underscore the importance of continued investment in youth development and sporting excellence."
 


Anosike spent the 2021-22 season with the Titans. He was named 2022 Big West Newcomer of the Year and helped the team to a conference tournament championship as he averaged 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
 
The Titans Men's Basketball program continues to wish Anosike success in his professional career.
