STOCKTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton wrapped up the fall season with a seventh place finish out of fifteen teams after shooting 2-under par 850 at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Wednesday.
Tegan Andrews shot a team low 204 for the Titans, finishing 9-under par. He completed the invitational in fourth place with one eagle and 37 pars.
Giaciomo Comerio competed as an individual, ending the tournament with a strong final round of 68 strokes. Comerio shot a 5-under par 208 to finish tied for 14th place with 33 pars.Â
Matthew Schafer shared 30th place with two other golfers, shooting 1-under par 212. Schafer knocked in 13 birdies and 30 pars across three rounds.Â
Dante Lazare (3-over par 216) placed 46th after golfing his best round on the last 18 holes (69).
Will Tanaka (6-over par 219) finished tied for 65th place while
Russell Howlett (12-over par 225) shared 84th place with Big West opponent Mark Gao (UC Riverside).Â
The Titans go on break before kicking off the spring season co-hosting the Orange County Collegiate Classic with UC Irvine, starting Monday, Feb. 10.Â
