FULLERTON, Calif. – Tegan Andrews earned his first Big West Men's Golfer of the Month recognition for his performance in October, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Andrews has led the Titans in all four fall tournaments, the two most recent being at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 9-10) and the Visit Stockton Invitational (Oct. 16-18). 

His shared seventh-place finish (even-par 216) at the Bill Cullum Invitational led the Titans to their first team victory of the season. Andrews played a consistent game, shooting a 73 in the first and second rounds before shooting his best round of 70 strokes in the final 18 holes while rolling in 14 birdies and an eagle. 

Andrews earned his first collegiate win at the Visit Stockton Invitational, securing the only top-20 finish for the Titans. He set a new career-best round of 63 and tournament finish after shooting 14-under par 202 (71-68-63). He was one stroke away from breaking his career-best tournament score of 201 that he set at the Nick Watney Invitational in September. 

The Senior looks to keep his momentum going when the Titans return to the course in the spring at the three-day Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate starting February 6.
