LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team begin their second tournament of the season at the Long Beach Invitational hosted by Long Beach State at the Rhodes Tennis Center.

The Titans won all three of their doubles matches and won four of their singles matches out of seven.  

In the doubles black bracket, Kaytlin Taylor and Diana Yanotoskaya defeated the Dondonay/Medik (LBSU) pairning 6-1. Taylor/Yanotoskaya will go against the Coetzee/Ho (CSUN) pairing tomorrow.

In the doubles gold bracket, Zoe Olmos and Natalie Duffy defeated the Hinton/Huynh UCI pairing 6-4. The pairing of Olmos/Duffy will go against Solis/Harper (CSUN) tomorrow.

In the same bracket, Mariia Nikitash and Camila Garcia defeated the Moratella Sanz/Santibanez Luna (CSUN) pairing 7-6 (5). The pairing of Nikitash/Garcia will go against the pairing of Perez/Khayat (UCI) tomorrow. 

In the singles black bracket, Diana Yanotoskaya defeated Anali Kocevar (GCU) 6-4, 6-4. Zoe Olmos defeated Victoria Santibanez Luna (CSUN) 6-2, 6-2.  In the same bracket, Natalie Duffy lost to Yuliia Zhytelna (CSUN) 2-6, 3-6.  Olmos will go against Kianna Oda (Gonzaga) tomorrow. Yanotoskaya will go against Emma Moratalla Sanz (CSUN) tomorrow.  Natalie Duffy will go against Alyssia Fossorier (UCI) in the consolation side of the bracket.

In the singles gold bracket, Kaytlin Taylor defeated Amanda Perez (UCI) 6-0, 6-2.  In the same bracket, Camila Garcia lost to Haily Huynh (UCI) 1-6, 2-6. Megan Tagaloa fell to Victoria Solis Urdiales (CSUN) 0-6, 3-6. Kaytlin Taylor advances in the winners bracket to face Angela Ho (CSUN) tomorrow.  Garcia plays against Sheena Masuda (LBSU) in the consolation bracket and Tagaloa goes against Nour Khayat (UCI) in the consolation bracket as well.

In the white bracket, Mariia Nikitash defeated Cydney Yamamoto (UCI) 6-1, 7-5. Nikitash will go against Sofia Dermeniyan (CSUN) tomorrow.
