Long Beach, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's tennis had a strong second day of competition at the Long Beach State Fall Tournament. 

In the flight B winner's bracket, Kaytlin Taylor advanced to Sunday's final at 10 a.m. PT. She defeated Mattea Mihaljevic (CSU) by a score of 7-6 (5), 6-3 in the quarterfinal round. Unfortunately, she had to square off against fellow Titan Yuseung Suh in the semifinal and won 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3. Suh reached the semifinal with a 6-1, 6-1 win in the quarterfinal matchup against Zuzanna Szczepanska (LBSU). In the top half of the bracket, Juliette Daries fell to Jenna Dorian (CSUN) in the quarterfinal by a score of 4-6, 3-6.

Eira Tobrand advanced to the semifinal of the flight A consolation bracket with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Santa Strombacha (GCU). But, she lost a close match to Ysabel Gonzalez (UCI) in the semifinal at 1-6, 7-5, 6-7 (5). 

Mariia Nikitash also advanced to the flight A consolation semifinal as she defeated Jessica Tsukiji (UCI) 6-0 in the first set and then won due to retirement. In the semifinal, she fell 6-2, 5-7, 4-6 to Tash Puehse (GCU). Puehse defeated Natalie Duffy of the Titans in the quarterfinal by a score of 6-4, 1-6, 1-6.

In flight C, Camila Garcia lost to Taylor Anderson (GCU) in the quarterfinal winner's bracket matchup by a score of 5-7, 0-6. Indya Nespor lost in the same round to Natal Gojm (CSU) 2-6, 3-6. 

In doubles flight A, Duffy and Tobrand fell to Homolkova/Masuda (LBSU) by a score of 6-7 (1). The duo will face Lennon/Le Due (LBSU) on Sunday at 9 a.m. in a consolation matchup.

In flight B, Nikitash and Garcia fell to Buzkova/Mihaljevic (CSU) by a score of 4-6. In Sunday's 9 a.m. consolation matchup the Titan duo will face Babkova/Szczepanksa (LBSU).

Suh and Nespor faced Totah/Pavani (UCI) in the semifinal round and won 6-3 to advance to the consolation final in flight B at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Taylor and Daries won the doubles flight C competition, defeating Richterova/Kotsyuba (CSU) in the final by a score of 6-4.
