Long Beach, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's tennis opened up the fall season on Friday with the Long Beach State Fall Tournament hosted by Long Beach State. Three Titans advanced in flight B to the winner's bracket plus two more in flight C. In doubles play, three of the four teams advanced to the winner's bracket across the three different flights.

Juliette Daries won her first matchup in flight B over Valentino Del Marco (GCU) by a score of 6-2, 6-3. She advanced to the winner's bracket to face Jenna Dorian (CSUN) at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Kaytlin Taylor also earned a win in flight B by a score of 7-6 (1), 6-1 over Autumn Prudhomme (GCU). She will face Mattea Mihaljevic (CSU) at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

YuSeung Suh beat Victoria Santibanez-Luna (CSUN) 7-6 (5), 6-2 in the opening round of flight B. Suh advanced to square off against Zuzanna Szczepanska (LBSU) at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

In flight C, Camila Garcia bested Jackie O'Neill (CSUN) by a score of 4-6, 6-1, 6-3. Garcia faces Taylor Anderson (GCU) on Saturday at 10 a.m. Also in that flight, Indya Nespor comfortably defeated Lucia Natal-Gojm (CSU) by a score of 6-1, 6-0.

In singles flight A, Eira Tobrand (0-4, 4-6), Mariia Nikitash (6-2, 1-6, 4-6) and Natalie Duffy (2-6, 3-6) were all defeated in their first matchup. Each will play in the consolation bracket on Saturday.

Duffy and Tobrand won 6-0 in doubles flight A over Dorian/O'Neill (CSUN). The duo faces Homolkova/Masuda (LBSU) on Saturday at 9 a.m.

Nikitash and Garcia cruised to a 6-1 win over Carter/Fowler (UCI) in doubles flight B. They advanced to play on Saturday at 9 a.m. against Buzkova/Mihaljevic (CSU). 

Suh and Nespor lost 2-6 in doubles flight B but will play in the consolation bracket on Saturday. 

Taylor and Daries earned a 6-0 doubles win in flight C over Del Marco/ Andreson (GCU). On Saturday at 9 a.m. the duo will face Richterova/Kotsyuba (CSU).
