SAN DIEGO – Five Titans advance to the round of 64 in the extra draw on day two of the ITA Regionals Friday afternoon.

Juliette Daries defeated Jolene Coatzee of CSUN in three sets 1-6, 6-4, [13-11]. Daries moves on to face Alexander Von Tersch Pohrer from San Diego State Saturday morning. 

Natalie Duffy eliminated Marta Gonzalez-Ballbe of UC Santa Barbara in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-4 victory to move on to the round of 64. Duffy is set to match up with Gabrielle Lee from USC Saturday. 

Eira Tobrand squared off against fellow Big West opponent in the first round of the extra draw, defeating Jessica Tsukiji from UC Irvine in three sets by a score of 3-6, 6-3 [12-10]. Tobrand advances to face another Big West foe in Tal Talya Zandbers of Hawai'i.

YuSeung Suh defeated Santa Strombacha from Grand Canyon in straight sets with a score of 7-5, 6-3. Suh will face Magdalena Hedrzak of CSUN Saturday in the round of 64. 

Indya Nespor battled Dasee Carter from UC Irvine and came out with a 6-1, 6-4 dominant victory. Nespor moves on to the round of 64 to face Sheena Masuda. 

Camila Garcia fought tough in her match against Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico, forcing three sets but ultimately falling by a score of 4-6, 6-3, [10-7]. Kaytlin Taylor fell in straight sets to Arina Babkova 6-4, 6-3. 

All matches in the extra daw were cancelled due to poor weather over the weekend.
