SAN DIEGO – On day two of the ITA Southwest Regionals the Titans were unable to advance to day three of the tournament.
The tandem of Makiba/Meng made it to the round of 32 in which they fell to USD's Kukaras/Morales 8-5. Acidera/Jadulang were also unable to come out of the round of 32 victorious as they lost to LBSU's Devarakonda/Sadeghvarizi 8-2.
Freshmen Genevieve Zeidan came up clutch with the win over No.5 seed Pepperdine's Laura Gulbe with a 7-6; 6-2 win that advanced her to the round of 16 against USC's Angela Kulikov. Zeidan ultimately lost to Kulikov 6-4; 6-2.
Sarah Nuno began today in the round of 32 against No.11 seed Madison Westby of USC. Nuno lost to Westby 6-0; 3-6; 6-0.
