FULLERTON, CA – Kristy Jorgensen of UC Davis defeated Emilia Borkowski of Cal State Fulleron at No. 4 singles in a split set Saturday to break a 3-3 tie and give the Aggies a 4-3 Big West Conference women's tennis win over the Titans.

It was the conference opener for the Aggies, now 3-4 overall.  Fullerton dropped to 3-4 as well but is 0-2 in the Big West.

Jorgensen's 6-3, 6-7 (4-6), 6-2 win was UC Davis' fourth singles win of the match, as the Aggies swept Nos. 3 thru 6.

Fullerton took the doubles point with a sweep and Nos. 1 (Alexis Valenzuela) and No. 2 singles  (Camille DeLeon) won in straight sets to build a 3-1 Fullerton lead.  But the Aggies came from behind.

Fullerton returns to action next Saturday with another Big West match at CSUN.
